Hump Day

Happy Hump Day!

Boy, is this week dragging. I think time secretly knows that I'm off this Friday so is making me wait, for what feels like an eternity, for 5.30pm on Thursday.

I wanted to talk a little bit about communication in today's post, it really quite a powerful tool that the very large majority of us have within our powers.
 
Communicating effectively makes little things in life that much easier.

Blogging Schedule

Make a calendar from a six-panel window and chalkboard paint.
I need to keep things a little more organised around here, for me and as well, you.

I have deliberated with myself for such a long time - 5 minutes - and have decided that I will attempt and try my damndest to post every Monday, Wednesday and either Saturday or Sunday.

I can't quite decide between which day on the weekend, so I think whichever suits on that particular weekend, gotta keep you guessing! You can't have me being 100% organised!

So, that's it. I thought I'd keep you up to date and hopefully I'll see you on Wednesday.

Evening Skin Care Routine



This is quite a spur of the moment thing, I decided to just do a quick and simple evening skin care routine!

I generally keep my skin care quite simple and don't like to overload on too many steps and products as I have very sensitive skin so I don't want to put a lot of different creams, lotions and potions on my face as I am prone to redness, irritation and eczema. (TMI?)

New Favourite Nude

I was in Boots over the weekend, shocker I know, what weekend am I not?

I was having a peruse of the make-up stands, I was on the lookout for a new nude for the summer time as I was off to a party that afternoon and didn't want to wear a bold colourful lip, families...

This beautiful nude caught my eye when I was looking at the extensive Rimmel lip selection.

Fitness Routine

 
Over the past year and a half I have revamped my food and lost a considerable amount of weight. I've dabbled in exercise in that time, mainly running, which I still do when I can, but I work such long days I generally don't feel up to a run once I get home.

I have been wanting to tone up more for the past couple of months, running definitely helps with toning but I don't think I do it often enough to tone to the extent that I want to!

I've been looking in to local Yoga or Pilates classes, as I think these would be a great idea for toning but they seem quite relaxing as they do everything slowly to really get the benefits from the poses. 

I'm already quite flexible from gymnastics when I was younger and in to my teens, it would be great to improve upon my flexibility again as well.
